Day 1: Leaving for Chile!

Today is our travel day! I am currently sitting in the Dallas airport on our 6 hour layover before our flight into Santiago, Chile. The level of excitement within our group is so high and we cannot wait to land in Chile and start our trip. Our professor, Dr. Jorge Abad, will be waiting for us there. Hopefully I can get some sleep on the plane because we have a long day planned when we land on Sunday morning! I'm very eager to experience Chilean culture and to see the differences from the United States and the countries in Europe that I have visited. The Dallas airport is huge, so we're going to explore during this long layover! Tomorrow we'll finally be in Chile! :)
